【陶歴】
1968年人間国宝金城次郎の長女(須美子)の三男として沖縄市に生まれる
1985年父、宮城督の下で陶芸を学ぶ
1991年 父亡き後、母須美子と共に作陶活動
1997年読谷村字大湾にて独立
2008年読谷村字座喜味に工房を移す
2014年次郎窯にて登り窯を始める

[Ceramic history]
Born in Okinawa City in 1968 as the third son of the eldest daughter (Sumiko) of Jiro Kinjo, a living national treasure.
1985 Learned pottery under his father, Miyagi
After the death of his father in 1991, he worked with his mother Sumiko to make pottery.
1997 Independence in Yomitan Village Owan
2008 Moved the workshop to Yomitan Village Zakimi
2014 Started climbing kiln at Jiro kiln

※この作品の逸話
実はこれ、三成さんとしては完成品として考えていなく、出品予定はなかったそうです。でも妻の淳子さんが黙って審査に出してしまいまさかの県知事賞。
三成さんは全く知らずに、三越での展覧会に行ったそうです。それまで隠すのが大変だったと淳子さんがおっしゃられておりました。「お前何したー」と言われたのが記憶にあるそうです。とはいえ欲がないなーそれが素敵。
* Anecdote of this work
Actually, Mitsunari didn’t think of this as a finished product, and he didn’t plan to sell it. However,his wife, Junko, silently submitted it to the jury, which was the prefectural governor’s award.
Mr. Mitsunari went to an exhibition in Mitsukoshi without knowing it at all. Junko said that it was difficult to hide until then. I remember being told, “What did you do?” But I don’t have a desire-it’s nice.
